I am working with an exciting commercial-stage client who are looking for an MD to join their rapidly expanding team, to take on the role of Medical Director, Global Drug Safety (MD). This is an onsite role where you will be expected to be in office at least 3 days per week (for the ideal candidate my client will consider remote).


For background, the company works across immunology and oncology in a number of modalities. Due to program demands and expanding pipeline, the VP of Global Drug Safety is looking to hire 1x physician as oncology compound lead to lead safety across select oncology trials in early development.


Culture fit is critical to my client. Current team members are experts in their field and high performing. Therefore, you should be a team player, who is adaptable, who can pivot on plan and remain flexible to the needs of the program you are working on. You should be able to think with first principles, with no task being too small, and excited about the journey you have the opportunity to be a part of.


To qualify for this position, you need the following:


  • MD (from an accredited medical school) having ideally practiced as a physician
  • Significant Product Safety Lead experience
  • 3+ years' Industry experience
  • Global regulatory experience
  • Strong soft skills and communication skills, with the ability and confidence to influence various cross-functional stakeholders
