Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Regulatory Compliance & Commercialization Manager at Don Lee Farms in Los Angeles, CA. The Manager will be responsible for creating USDA and FDA-compliant specification sheets, food labels, managing regulatory requirements, utilizing analytical skills, and coordinating with R&D and production teams regularly.


Location: Inglewood, CA (Near LAX)


Key Responsibilities


Regulatory Compliance & Commercialization Manager

  • Develop and maintain specifications, FDA and USDA labels, processes, and testing procedures.
  • Supervise bench-scale trials and commercialize new products.
  • Resolve development roadblocks and assist with new product launches.
  • Travel to Mansfield, TX, for product launches and ongoing development activities.


Skills and Abilities

  • Extensive experience in the food industry.
  • Proficiency in FDA and USDA labeling requirements, and knowledge of the School Lunch Program.
  • Regulatory expertise for new product development.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in technical services and successful industrialization of new food products.
  • Passion for creating innovative and exciting food products.
  • Self-starter with a curious mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-centric environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
  • Excellent project management skills.
