Associate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our multistate family law practice. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality legal services to clients dealing with family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

  • We are open to candidates with no family law experience, but willing to learn

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in representing clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, and adoption cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Attend court hearings and prepare for trial as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and management.
  • Stay informed about changes in family law and relevant legislation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in AZ
  • 1+ years of experience in family law or related fields preferred
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn family law issues such as divorce, child custody, and adoption.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple cases.
