Our law firm in Irvine, California, is actively seeking a Litigation Attorney with a solid background in litigation and trial experience. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on litigation expertise. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of legal professionals.


Candidates must have a strong academic background with excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with employment litigation is a plus. We offer a competitive salary and benefits. The base salary for this position is anticipated to be in the range of $140,000 to $180,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Attorneys are also entitled to quarterly fee generation bonuses tethered to results at between 3% to 15% of the actual fees generated on cases along with a 6% 401 (k) match.


Responsibilities:


Litigation Management:

  • Oversee and manage employment litigation cases, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Develop and execute strategic litigation plans.
  • Conduct legal research and provide insightful advice to clients.


Trial Advocacy:

  • Prepare cases for trial
  • Prepare and present compelling arguments in court.
  • Direct and manage litigation teams, ensuring thorough preparation.


Team Leadership:

  • Direct a team comprised of a case administrator, paralegal and legal secretary to manage cases
  • Provide guidance and support to team.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance work environment.


Client Interaction:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments and strategy.


Legal Research and Analysis:

  • Stay informed on legal developments and precedents.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
