Job Title: Accounting Clerk 1

Location: Olathe, KS 66061

Schedule:

  • Worker 1: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Workers 2 and 3: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Payrate: $18/hr. - $21.43 /hour


Position Overview: We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerks to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role involve handling daily farmer invoices, preparing financial statements, and managing various accounting functions. You will interact with CBS in Bangalore to ensure accurate information processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily farmer invoices and manage financial statements reporting.
  • Handle foreign currency accounting, fixed assets, and general ledger manual journal entries.
  • Engage with CBS in Bangalore to ensure proper processing of information.
  • Manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively, build trust, and influence various stakeholder groups.
  • Understand and apply US GAAP standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and navigate ambiguity with ease.
  • Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis; training will be provided on the JD Edwards system.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Understanding of US GAAP.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Experience or willingness to learn JD Edwards system.
