Our client is seeking a Profee Denials Coder to support their HIM/Coding.

This is a contract to hire role, offering $20-29/hr, and is on 5 days in office for the first 90 days work schedule.

Title: Profee Denials Coder

Job Duties:

· Reviewing all charts denied for a coding specific reason (bundled, med. Nec, etc.)

· Primarily focused on the Cardio clinic (75% E/M. 25% surgery)

· 100% onsite

· Will hire someone without cardio exp as long as they have denials

· Must live local in Iowa

· 1+ years of experience required

· DX, CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers, E/M

Candidate profile and qualifications:

Experience in denials coding, aapc or ahima certification, coding bundling, coding denials medical, coding denials necessary

System: Proficient in Alterra, Care Stream, Engenious Med, Amchi, Orchard (All feeds into Centricity)

Certifications: AHIMA / AAPC Required
