Wave Rideshare and Delivery is an ULTRA SAFE transportation network company offering rideshare, delivery, and specialized transport services. Our platform includes standard rideshare, KidsRides for children aged 6-17, Special Needs/Elderly Rides, and Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT). We prioritize safety, our drivers, and excellent customer service. Wave is proud to be the official rideshare and delivery partner for the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and other destinations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to schedules and routes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding schedules, delays, or any concerns.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Provide a friendly and supportive environment for young passengers.
  • Comply with all local and state driving laws.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children; background in education, childcare, or a related field is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, traffic violations, and child safety standards.
  • Must pass a social media evaluation and in-person interview.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, attentive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to prioritize safety and follow all traffic regulations
  • Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
  • Excellent navigation and geographical knowledge
  • Willingness to have a TNC inspection and provide proof of inspection
  • Willingness to have a background check.
