Technical Writer

Contract

Hybrid role in Burlingame, CA (3 days onsite/2 days remote)

Must have Skills

3.Comfortable working in a very technical field. Strong knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training.

Someone that understands software development life cycle. Software infrastructure experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of experience authoring complex technical documentation for an engineering audience.

Experience with SDK or API documentation for a technical audience.

Experience working with markdown content formatting.

Experience interpreting example code so that it can be explained to users.

Experience using source control to manage and publish content.

Established record of project ownership, project management, and self-direction.

Experience collaborating effectively across multiple teams and competing deadlines.

​​Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science or English or equivalent work experience.

Familiarity with game engine development (Unity, Unreal Engine), web development, or Android development.

Familiarity with software infrastructure concepts and technologies.
