Job Description-

  • We are looking for a skilled chemist to join our chemistry team.
  • You will be joining a team that develops advanced materials sets for life science applications.
  • This is a wet lab operation so skill using lab equipment and materials along with exceptional attention to detail to meet our quality standards is expected.
  • Drive continual improvement of Membrane products through process development and design changes resulting in high performance, process robustness and cost effectiveness.
  • Daily management of technology development with respect to quality and process characterization, on time delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Drive consistent process controls and work with cross-functional team for technology transfer to manufacturing.
  • Problem identification, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development, verification and implementation.
  • Disposition of non-conforming material. Generate and submit ECOs for manufacturing related changes.
  • Be a back-up for other R&D associates in the development of new technologies.



Required:

  • BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience working in a R&D and/or manufacturing environment a plus.


Desirable:

  • Experience with polymer chemistry, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry.
  • Experience with design of experiment (DoE)
