Responsibilities
- Introduce volunteers to patients
- Conduct one speaking engagement per week
- Achieve 35-40 community touch points per week at various organizations (churches, synagogues, senior centers, rotary clubs, civic groups, Elks Club, colleges, VFWs, assisted living facilities, and other community organizations)
- Post flyers and distribute recruitment materials
- Attend job fairs and host volunteer recruitment events
- Ensure 20 volunteer applications are completed per month for the assigned territory
- Convert at least 10% of applications into active volunteers
- Spend the majority of time in the community rather than in the office
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to engage and recruit volunteers effectively
Experience in public speaking and community outreach
Availability for evening and weekend activities as required
Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
Proficiency in organizing and hosting events
Knowledge of local community organizations and groups
Valid Drivers License (required)
Required Skills
