Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian at Folsom Veterinary Hospital in Folsom, CA. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to patients, including diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, and offering preventative care. Additionally, the Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for communicating with clients, collaborating with the veterinary team, maintaining accurate medical records, and staying updated on current veterinary practices and advancements.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • State Veterinary Board license
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary medicine and practices
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in animals
  • Proficiency in performing surgeries
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Passion for providing compassionate care to animals
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Experience with exotic or avian medicine is a plus
