Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join our team as an Enterprise Security Engineer. The successful applicant will work to protect our company's computer systems and networks from threats.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the company's data, systems and networks.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all enterprise security tools (e.g, firewalls, Email gateway, IDS/IPS, EDR, AV, CASB, and SWG)
- Conduct security architecture reviews and makes recommendations regarding configurations, policies, and align with industry security standards
- Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
- Ensuring that the company's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
- Participating in the change management process.
- Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities, and creating counteractive strategies to protect the network.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.
- 2+ years of work experience in enterprise security.
- Knowledge of various security concepts and methods such as VLANs, NAT, ACLs.
- Experience in disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods.
- Experience in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures.
- Professional security management certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering.
- Proficiency in risk assessments, incident response handling, and security operations.
