Job Description:

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience required
  • Complete engine overhaul a plus
  • Hands on engine, head, and sub-assembly build experience.
  • Must have strong mechanical skills; ability to proficiently use all build related tools.
  • Transmission work a plus
  • Metal Fabrication / Mig Welding preferred
  • Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment
  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
  • Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions and differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components, emissions systems and related components.
  • Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units
  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain work area appearance and safety
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
