AUX Partners works closely with a fast-growing and innovative Fiber Optic company looking for an experienced GIS Lead to bring onto their team. This would be a full-time role with full benefits, hybrid remote work, and the opportunity to quickly progress throughout the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the GIS Department, aiming for accurate, timely, and profitable engineering projects.

• Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees and supervisors of an assigned area,

department, or project(s)

• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance

• Develop processes to ensure completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or

project(s)

• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area,

department, or project(s)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of related work experience

• Strong understanding of telecommunications network design and familiarity with

telecommunications design software

• Sound knowledge of GIS software and capabilities

• Technical knowledge and application of ESRI products and platforms

• Proficiency in using ARCGIS, and other office tools

• Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks

• Ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and

completeness

• Experience in managing large, complex programs and high-volume projects
