We are a small practice that excels in personalized care and have maintained a practice that is above standard of care for decades. We strive for individualized plans of care that fit the personal needs and goals of each patient. All patients are educated on the value of exercise, both physically and emotionally to optimize their healing.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate is a highly ethical, community oriented, and skilled Physical Therapist committed clinical excellence.
We value a “can-do” team player dedicated to a thoughtful clinical practice and attention-to-detail that is evident in their rapport with, and treatment of the client. Due to the collaborative nature of our practice, it is important that this practicioner be inclined to ask for assistance when patient problems may be confusing or unusually complex. This individual searches out answers and collaborates with colleagues for additional avenues of treatment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in physical therapy with a focus in Orthopedics.
- Experience in PT clinical practices in an outpatient setting.
- Deep knowledge of best practices and trends in care to consistently look towards optimal outcomes.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum with a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree with certification in physical therapy, or foreign-trained equivalent.
License, Certification, Registration
- Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire
- APTA membership required
- Pilates Certification preferred, but not required
The Position:
- Provide direct patient care creating an exceptional experience.
- Manages clinical outcomes.
- Creates a professional and collaborative working environment, promotes teamwork, quality and attention to detail.
- Provides advice and education to patient and family. Regularly reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment progress of patients towards goals. Employs modifications as necessary. Provides accurate, timely documentation of physical therapy patient management.
- Participates with practice for in service of approved educational activities in physical therapy. Assists in the development, implementation, and review of patient care programs.
- Discuss patient problems with colleagues and explain rationale for treatment.
- Create and maintain good communication with referring providers.
