Role Description:

This role involves providing analysis and technical expertise within an existing SAP setup. It covers a wide array of tasks including research, analysis, design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, support, training, and the implementation of IT solutions in a regulated, global, single-instance SAP ECC environment.


  • Ensure SAP solutions align with business requirements by identifying possible solutions and necessary business process adjustments.
  • Configure SAP Materials Management (MM) modules to address evolving business and operational needs, Specifically focusing on:
  • Procurement processes (Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders)
  • Stock Transport Orders (STOs)
  • Inventory transactions
  • Logistics execution
  • I doc support
  • Additional skills in Quality Management (QM), Logistics Execution (LE), and Warehouse Management (WM) are beneficial.
  • Utilize advanced business and technical knowledge when collaborating with business partners, stakeholders, other IT groups, and external partners.
  • Display curiosity, considering business needs while integrating industry best practices, innovative thinking, and ensuring scalable, supportable solutions.
  • Clearly document requirements, specifications, business process flows, and swim lanes to communicate complex ideas to a diverse audience.
  • Translate requirements and specifications into primarily configuration-based solutions, with customization as a secondary approach, to meet business needs while ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios and scripts to support verification and validation protocols.
  • Effectively collaborate with geographically diverse and dispersed business partners and IT teams.
  • Facilitate meetings within IT, across business partners, and with external teams.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget constraints.
  • Adapt to new technologies and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Share responsibility with team members for resolving critical incidents.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in SAP MM configuration required


Must have experience in the following SAP MM areas:

  • Procurement processes (Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders)
  • Stock Transport Orders (STOs)
  • Inventory transactions
  • Logistics execution
  • I doc support


Nice to have's: QM, WM, and LE are a plus:

  • At least 10 years of experience, including:
  • Successfully leading small to medium-sized projects
  • Working in an Agile environment, preferably with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Methodology
  • Writing User and Functional Requirements, creating Functional Specifications, and developing test scenarios and scripts that support GAMP V verification and validation methodologies.
