I am seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join my client's team in Dallas, TX.


You will be responsible for designing electrical power, lighting, and specialized systems for various project types, such as educational institutions (K-12 and higher education), municipal buildings, places of worship, offices, medical centers, data centers, office/warehouse spaces, high/low rise long-term care facilities, food service facilities, retail environments, and other commercial buildings.


Responsibilities:


  • Developing comprehensive electrical production drawings from initial design to final implementation
  • Conducting redline drafting and utilizing AutoCAD and Revit for design purposes
  • Editing specifications and reviewing submittals
  • Performing site visits and evaluations
  • Responding to RFIs and conducting PCR reviews


Requirements:


  • Experience of 5 years in a similar role
  • Proficiency in designing power distribution, general and specialized lighting systems, daylighting systems, lighting control systems, emergency power distribution systems (including generators and uninterruptible power systems), and special systems (such as fire alarm, public address, and sound reinforcement systems)
  • Professional Engineering(P.E.) license is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
