Survey CAD Technician

Our client is a respected Long Island-based civil engineering and land surveying firm with over 40 years of experience, and are seeking a Survey Draftsperson to join their expanding team.


Responsibilities:

  • Interpret survey field notes and additional survey documents within the project file or online to fulfill mapping requirements.
  • Create various plans and maps, such as Title Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-Built Surveys, ROW Surveys, etc., using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Print and prepare project deliverables in various media/formats.
  • Handle project-related filing, both digital and physical, including correspondence from clients and consultants.
  • Follow the drafting, design, and production standards and procedures set by the company.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree or certificate in computer-aided drafting or at least 1 year of experience as a CAD Technician.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
