Location/Branch: Champlin, MN

Position Overview:

The Post Closing Admin is responsible for file intake and processing upload of closed loan files. This consists of reviewing various loan types including, but not limited to FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, RHS, Bond Programs and Conventional mortgage transactions. Granite Bank has competitive compensation and benefits, and is actively growing.


Responsibilities and Duties:

·        Review and support all functions in the post-closing & the audit process

·        This position requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to work with loan documentation, state specific standards and compliance deadlines

·        Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members

·        Scanning and shipping files to the LOS System, file maintenance, and general post-closing support

·        Verify accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents

·        Prepare files, notes, allonges, goodbye and HOI letters to be shipped to secondary markets, government agencies, service released investor or where applicable

·        Review files with a purchase checklist to verify loan qualifies for purchase

·        Special projects and additional duties as assigned by manager

·        Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills:

·        Mortgage experience preferred but not required

·        Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy

·        Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload

·        Effective communication skills, written and verbal

·        Ability to work as part of a team

·        Excellent customer services skills

·        CONV/FHA/VA/USDA/DPA experience preferred but not required

·        Knowledge of mortgage documentation and regulatory requirements preferred but not required

 

Education:

·        High School Diploma
