Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Location: 331 Alberta Drive Suite 104 Amherst, NY 14226. This position can be hybrid, fully in-person, or fully virtual.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and others, to facilitate positive change in clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessment notes, progress reports, and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Foster a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages open communication and self-expression.
  • Monitor clients' progress over time, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing feedback to track improvements.
  • Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and resources available.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care for clients with complex needs.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards outlined by relevant licensing bodies and organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree Social Work.
  • Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • Proven experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions, with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex psychological concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Empathetic, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse populations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying informed about the latest advancements in therapy and mental health.
