Job Summary:

The Leadership Facilitation Specialist is a key role in our corporate learning and development team, responsible for delivering high-quality facilitation for leadership training sessions. This role carries a significant facilitation load, often leading 2-3 sessions per week, both virtually and in-person. The ideal candidate will be flexible, experienced in corporate learning, and possess a strong ability to manage projects, coordinate events, and respond to various inquiries related to the leadership curriculum.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Session Facilitation: Lead 2-3 virtual or in-person leadership training sessions per week, including offsite events and specialized sessions at the Leadership Development Center (LDC).
  • Event Support: Act as the primary facilitator for leadership offsites and other significant events, ensuring smooth execution and participant engagement.
  • Instructional Design Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers to provide feedback and insights on content, ensuring alignment with corporate learning objectives.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Serve as an SME on content creation, providing guidance but not leading the content development process.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as project management, schedule identification, document organization, and email management. Assist in outlining processes, steps, and coordination for sessions.
  • Project Management: Oversee the preparation for sessions, including setting schedules, saving folders, and outlining processes. Support the project coordinator and analyst as needed.
  • Session Production: Support session production, including setup, preparation, and post-session reviews (e.g., lessons learned, revisions).
  • Leadership Curriculum Management: Be the face of specific tracks within the leadership curriculum, leading kickoff calls, and guiding participants through multi-month programs.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues related to technology platforms (e.g., Webex) and work with IT to identify alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Consulting: Act as a consultant on instructional design and program delivery, providing expertise and guidance to enhance the overall effectiveness of leadership programs.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Answer questions from leadership and participants regarding sessions, curriculum, and processes, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate learning and development, with a strong background in team collaboration.
  • Leadership Facilitation: Proven experience facilitating leadership training sessions, with a polished and professional demeanor suitable for interacting with senior managers and C-suite executives.
  • Instructional Design: Familiarity with instructional design principles and experience working with instructional designers.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate schedules, manage timelines, and oversee session logistics.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Workday, Webex, and other corporate learning tools. Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve platform issues.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, including shifts in training focus or content delivery.
  • Corporate Experience: Preference given to candidates with corporate learning experience over those from academic backgrounds.
