Job Description:

· Certifications:

o Terraform Associate certification is highly desirable.

· Terraform:

o Proficient in writing, testing, and maintaining Terraform scripts.

o Ability to design modular and reusable Terraform modules.

o Experience with Terraform State management and remote backends.

· Cloud Infrastructure:

o In-depth knowledge of cloud services and resources (compute, storage, networking).

o Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and best practices.

· Configuration Management:

o Experience with tools like Ansible, Chef for configuration management and automation.

· Scripting and Automation:

o Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

o Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.

· CI/CD Integration:

o Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.

Soft Skills:

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Communication:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Ability to clearly document processes, configurations, and issues.

· Collaboration:

o Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

o Experience in agile development environments is a plus.

· Adaptability:

o Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

o Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Kubernetes and Containers: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

· Networking and Security: Knowledge of networking concepts, cloud security best practices, and tools for securing infrastructure.

· Monitoring and Logging:

o Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as, CloudWatch, or stack.

o Ability to set up alerts and dashboards for infrastructure monitoring.

· Additional IaC Tools: Familiarity with other IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
