What you should know:

Prior retail experience, strong analytical skills, and computer systems knowledge are necessary. Limited travel.

Responsibilities:

-Merchandise analysis and forecasting advance allocations to stores

-Review store product sales history and inventory turns

-Allocate merchandise to stores

-Manage store replenishment process associated with distribution center replenishment

-Monitor store inventory levels to maximize store capacity figures

-Work with buyer to help plan and buy merchandise

-Work with buyer to initiate and create purchase orders

-Communicate with store operations personnel to achieve overall business objectives
