Aviation Project Manager (Aviation/Airport Design & Management)

About the Opportunity: Are you an expert in aviation project management with a passion for leading complex airport projects? This role focuses on managing airfield and landside projects, with a specific emphasis on expanding our client’s aviation practice in the Florida region. Your efforts will be instrumental in delivering top-tier infrastructure solutions and establishing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the project management of aviation design projects from concept to client acceptance.
  • Serve as the account manager for strategic aviation clients, ensuring strong client relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aviation sector.
  • Develop pricing models and assist in market-based pricing strategies.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to integrate various project components seamlessly.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars, Unified Facilities Criteria, and similar standards.
  • Design airside and landside airport infrastructure, including ramps, taxiways, taxi lanes, and runways.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation design and project management.
  • Proven track record in client management and business development within the aviation industry.
  • Airport Planner or Florida PE preferred (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
