Job Description:
- Identifying/updating work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
- Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers
- Identify, drive, and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the group
- Analyzing and evaluating problems with inventory, delivery, and/or sales orders. Providing periodic reports and updates to management.
- Leads effort in resolution of warehouse barriers
- Acting as subject matter expert for material providing and handling strategies in support of Schneider Production System.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain
- 1+ years minimum experience directly supervising employees (Ex: conducting annual performance appraisals, issuing discipline, hiring/onboarding new talent, creating and achieving department goals)
- 3+ year experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain role.
- What qualifications will make you successful in this role?
- Prior knowledge/experience with shipping and shipping processes.
- Strong working knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and application preferred
