Job Description:

HR Data Manager is a key member of the Global HR Operations & Technology Team able to provide support to Global HR Team Department, Managers and Employees across our core workforce administration activities with a focus on HR technology in general and Workday in particular. Workday is the core ERP for our compnay, this role will be critical in the development and extraction of data from this system. HR Data Manager is a hands-on role for a customer service-oriented professional.

This role will be instrumental to the delivery of high-quality and timely service to the business.

Objectives:

  • Being available to support processes (eg. Talent acquisition) that require manual intervention or guidance to the requesting teams
  • Analyze and Update with Accuracy employee personal and job-related data in Workday and help maintain downstream systems.
  • Delivery of Workday consultation to the broader HR team serving as Workday Data Management Subject Matter Expert.
  • Working on the Daily BAU reports /Data Integrity reports and Ensure Internal errors are rectified promptly through key administrators within the business, stepping in when needed.
  • Directly contacting internal customers and Global HR Team members when needed to solve more complex problems, escalating where necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with the clients to ensure there are minimal follow-ups involved.
  • Contribute to key HR initiatives and projects.
  • Proactively analyze data with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
  • Help in support/testing during HR enhancement projects.
  • Create operational, ad-hoc reports and data extracts to support business processes and servicing. Developing longer term dash-boarding from reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate Data Management practices for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
  • Look for opportunities to improve process execution and technology usage, working with CoE Process Lead to prioritize and implement improvements.
  • Assist in researching/analyzing new capabilities within Workday.
  • Work closely with other Workday technical resources to ensure continuous improvement of company-owned integrations.
  • Provide change management support by delivering training and development of reference materials.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a closely allied field.
  • Four years + in HR data management/reporting or a Workday Specialist role.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resource Management Practices and Processes is essential.
  • Proven analytic skills and customer centric mindset.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
  • Very good analytical with results-oriented working methods.
  • Experience in developing business reports in Workday and ad-hoc reports is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks efficiently and priorities workload within a matrixed team environment.
  • Previous experience with payroll management is desirable but not essential.
  • Outstanding business process fluency, with a strong ability to discuss processes at a level of detail sufficient to gain insight into the underlying business problem or opportunity.
  • Excellent organization skills, detail orientation, with a proven ability to follow projects and issues through to completion are required.
  • Must have the interpersonal finesse to interact effectively within the organization and with external suppliers at all levels of the business.
  • Work in a team environment, both as a participant and project leader; establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in networking and cross-functional collaboration.
