Day to Day:

  • This positions supports our client's Technology Infrastructure Engineering team, primarily responsible for performing the daily duties of Azure cloud design, new product and ensuring the health of their all-cloud environments. This role will work with the team in administering a hybrid cloud datacenter environment including on prem storage and compute resources. This role will work alongside other IT staffing (engineers and senior engineers), assorted project delivery staff, and a team in their India and US offices.


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience designing the Azure suite (Application Gateway, APIM, Azure AKS, Azure AD B2C, Azure Cosmos, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, etc)
  • Design experience with Azure Container Apps
  • Understanding of general Azure Networking including Azure firewalls, overall network design, Application Gateways, VPN, Azure Express Route, Azure Firewalls
  • General understanding of security concepts - specifically with deploying internally
  • Design DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Azure infrastructure
  • Experience with architecting and designing solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements
  • Drive, Plan and Develop blueprints and deliverables that help customers in advancing their Azure Cloud capabilities, involving both new solutions and migration of existing solutions.


Plusses:

  • Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or other major cloud computing services is a plus.
