BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Review and coordinate designs produced by engineering teams, trade contractors, and other third-party vendors to ensure a clash-free, constructible design model
• Work with engineers, trades, and design professionals to develop an integrated model delivery approach and lead clash detection reviews with a focus on optimizing the construction process and driving quality and value
• Set up and maintain large, federated building models involving 8-10 design and engineering disciplines. Projects are cloud-hosted and span across multiple internal and external design teams
• Ensure high standards of quality and consistency regarding Revit family modeling, model health checks and BIM 360 / ACC Docs maintenance and housekeeping
• Integrate factory layout and manufacturing team’s models with engineering and vendor models
• Check accuracy & completeness of the models, physical & operational spatial coordination, and timely implementation and resolution of any issues according to an aggressive schedule
• Provide both management and design skills in support of a detailed and accurate BIM models
• Deliver completed, as-built models to facilities teams to assist with commissioning, maintenance, and operation
• Introduce, support, and oversee the implementation of industry leading BIM technology
• Responsible for developing and maintaining project BIM standards document.
• Directly responsible for authoring applications’ content management. Develop custom parametric content for Revit for various design disciplines. Improvise workflows to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years’ experience working with trades on construction of high-tech infrastructure and facilities (semiconductor, solar, battery)
• 3+ years managing a team of interdisciplinary BIM and design professionals
• Proven expertise in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC and reality capture applications
• Experience interfacing with construction and procurement teams on quantity takeoffs and alignment between Work Breakdown Structure based cost tracking and BIM parameters
• Familiarity with dynamic simulation software Flex-sim preferred
• Experience working on highly complex, large-scale infrastructure projects
