Job Description – Vice President, Human Resources

The Company


Symphony Wireless acquires, manages, and leases rooftop, tower and other telecommunication cell sites interests in urban, suburban, and rural environments throughout the United States. Symphony operates as one of the largest privately held owners of these sites across the United States and is backed by one of the largest digital infrastructure firms in the country.

The Opportunity


We are seeking a dynamic, well‐rounded experienced Vice President, Human Resources to lead HR efforts for an innovative infrastructure investment organization. You will partner with senior leadership and managers across disciplines to support our growing organization. We have a strong culture, mature operational processes, and a highly invested team. Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the HR function including but not limited to employee relations, compliance, coaching, communications, training, learning and development, performance management, employee evaluations, budgeting, compensation planning, benefits, and DEI.
  • Provide employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.
  • Build out and assist management in planning, development, implementation, and execution of employee evaluation activities.
  • Develop and conduct training for management and employees on various issues including performance management, diversity, etc.
  • Oversee payroll processing through PEO and help resolve any payroll related questions/issues.
  • Collaborate with PEO to ensure benefits administration and help resolve any benefits questions/issues.
  • Oversee and ensure all personnel records are maintained in a confidential manner.
  • Participate in the development of department goals and objectives, and execute plans to meet these goals. Advise supervisors and managers on application of company policies to ensure consistency and accurate policy interpretation interdepartmentally.
  • Support the CEO to build the Symphony Wireless employee culture initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Manage full employee life‐cycle, including on‐ and off‐boarding. Facilitate new‐employee orientation and ensure appropriate onboarding process of new employees.
  • Evaluates the status and productivity of HR programs and recommend changes to improve efficiency and cost‐effectiveness.
  • Complete all necessary HR related local, state, and federal compliance reporting and filing requirements on time and accurately.
  • A hands‐on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Support the CEO with managing and implementing companywide internal meetings, gatherings, and events and future charitable activities.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to lead projectsat a network level to influence and obtain buy‐in, and then drive executionand achievement of the right results.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8+ years of human resources and leadership experience within a growing organization.
  • Experience with TriNet is a plus.
  • Experience setting up and overseeing charitable foundation projects is a plus.
  • Positive, “can‐do” attitude, excellent communication skills, and culture awareness.
  • Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong employee service; approachable and friendly demeanor but stern with company policies and procedures and maintenance of confidential data and information.
  • Ability to problem solve, think quickly and be comfortable in fast‐moving environments.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co‐workers.
  • Excellent business judgment: intellectual curiosity and the ability to balance business requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
