Duties:

  • Perform design from concept to implementation
  • Perform research to back up design
  • Perform engineering documentation
  • Perform other items as directed by a senior engineer or discipline lead


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project documents are accurately prepared
  • Have extensive knowledge of common software programs
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and related software programs to perform routine duties.
  • Organizing and maintaining existing engineering records
  • Ensure design components adhere to applicable industry standards
  • Ensure work product is checked/approved by a senior engineer or discipline lead
  • Ensure work product meets project requirements
  • Ensure work is completed on or before scheduled milestones including coordination and approvals
  • Ensure work is completed within assigned budgets
  • Attention to detail
  • Mentoring designers and drafters
  • Relay apparent training needs to department manager


Qualifications:

Requires 5 plus years of experience as a Civil Designer or related position.
