*Must live within 20-30 miles from our Covington, KY location. R.A Jones does not offer any stipend, housing, or transportation*


This co-op rotation is for Summer 2024.


About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op, you will build leadership and technical skills in a manufacturing setting while working on challenging, real-world projects where you will gain invaluable experiences along the way. In this role you will build a strong technical foundation in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing and assembly processes and systems.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency and quality
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and engineering drawings.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of workplace safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Need to Be Successful

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
