Sales Development Representative

Location: Purchase, New York
Responsibilities -
- The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting for new customers and new industries through the internet, phone calls, emails, faxes, industry meetings, sales calls, etc.
- Meet sales goals set by the General manager.
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers through various channels including social media, networking events, and cold outreach.
- Qualifying Leads: Assess the needs and readiness of potential clients to determine their suitability for the company’s products or services.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound communications via email, phone calls, and social media to engage prospects and introduce the company’s offerings.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales team to facilitate the sales process.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and updates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align strategies and target key market segments.
- Follow-Up: Nurture leads through follow-up communications and engage them with relevant content to maintain interest.
- Assist in marketing functions as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
Required Skills -
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in sales with a growth mindset.
- Knowledge of the Clinical services is beneficial.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
- Ability to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
- Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales processes and techniques with a focus on lead qualification.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools, as well as Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
