R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Lab Tech/Assistant I in Tucson, AZ.

Your main responsibilities as a Lab Tech/Assistant I:

· Performs daily, monthly and quarterly instrument and equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks.

· Monitors and maintains usage logs for all equipment and instruments. Monitors, schedules and delivers portable equipment for calibration and maintains necessary paperwork.

· Troubleshoots minor equipment malfunctions by performing operational tests.

· Monitors and prepares bulk reagents daily.

· Maintains stock room and monitors and/or orders lab supplies inventory.

What we are looking for in a Lab Tech/Assistant I:

· H.S. Diploma or GED - REQUIRED

· Some college experience - Pref

· Previous laboratory experience - Pref

· Experience with Ventana auto-stainers or other automated laboratory instrumentation - Pref

· Able to work independently.- REQUIRED
