Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with a specialization in Voice/Data Network Systems to address and manage a wide range of IT needs within our client's operations. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing the technological framework that supports our client's dynamic environment, focusing on network security, software distribution, and system management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage group policies and scripting to streamline and secure our IT environment.
  • Facilitate the centralized deployment of software, ensuring efficient distribution across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions to enhance system security.
  • Oversee the security protocols for mobile solutions, safeguarding against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Manage Active Directory and Exchange services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Administer SAN or VMware environments, contributing to robust and scalable storage solutions.
  • Implement and monitor backup technologies, guaranteeing data integrity and availability.
  • Design and configure network topology to support reliable and secure network communications.
  • Manage Sophos/Barracuda web filters to ensure safe and secure internet access across the organization.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in IT, with a focus on analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues within various computing environments.
  • Proven expertise in planning, acquiring, installing, and implementing network services and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability in generating and maintaining system software, with a strong understanding of systems security.
  • Applicants must exhibit strong independent working capabilities alongside exceptional verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills.
