Position Overview

HEVRON is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Apparel Designer to support the Founder in developing our collections. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about contemporary fashion, has a strong eye for minimalistic design, and wants to contribute to a growing brand.  You will be responsible for leading the design process, researching trends, creating technical packages, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Assist in the creation of seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with HEVRON’s aesthetic and customer profile.
  • Trend Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to inform design concepts and fabric selection.
  • Sketching & CADs: Create and update flat sketches and CADs for collections using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Tech Packs: Develop and maintain detailed tech packs, including measurements, construction details, and material specifications, to ensure clear communication with factories.
  • Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Work with the Head Designer to source and select fabrics, trims, and materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with the brand’s design direction.
  • Fit & Samples: Assist in sample fittings and provide feedback to ensure garments are executed as envisioned.
  • Organization: Maintain an organized design archive, inspiration boards, and seasonal line sheets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure seamless development and execution of designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in apparel design, preferably in contemporary or luxury womenswear.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience creating technical sketches and tech packs.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fit processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A keen understanding of HEVRON’s brand aesthetic and target customer.
  • Enthusiasm for minimalistic and contemporary fashion, with a strong eye for detail and quality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with knitwear or tailored silhouettes is advantageous.
