Knowledge of or willingness to learn: Social-emotional interventions based on developmental principles; speech sound disorder interventions based on complexity theory; DIR or Hanen education/interventions.

This speech-language pathologist job opening is available for part-time, or full-time, with flexibility in schedule. One can start part-time and work toward full-time if preferred. Contract work is also available if preferred.


Teletherapy is available for existing clients or during service interruptions, such as snow closures.


Responsibilities

 • Provide communication services (language, speech sound disorder, pragmatics, and social-emotional regulation) to children aged 18 months – 18 years.

• Written reports required for assessments, therapy plans, progress reports and discharge summaries. Some private insurances require ongoing progress notes every 90 days. SOAP notes. We try to be efficient with our paperwork to free up your time.

• Provide consultation and support to family members and care givers.

• Communicate effectively and collaboratively with other LSLS clinicians.

• Work effectively as a member of each family’s team.

• Maintain productivity levels.
