Senior Sales Development Representative

Position Background:
Over the past 7 years, TDengine has demonstrated the viability of its flagship product with 200+ paying customers worldwide, with a number of large enterprises among them. It also enjoys the support of an enthusiastic developer and user community. Based on such strong validation and with full support of our management, board of directors, and investors such as GGV, Sequoia, and Matrix Partners, we are in the early stages of investing heavily in the North America and the EMEA markets to capture lucrative customer and partner opportunities.
And in order to support our business growth, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a critical role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential customers, generating leads, and managing the sales cycles for new clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
- Outbound Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and emails to engage with potential customers, introduce them to TDengine's solutions, and qualify their interest.
- Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their fit and readiness for our sales process.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for our sales executives with qualified leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in our CRM system.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role in the technology or software industry, preferably in the database industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with potential customers.
- Driven and Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and sales processes.
- Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, sales automation tools, Outreach, and other technology platforms.
