Position Overview:
The Vice President of Sales is an individual contributor who will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth within the logistics industry. This is a sales leadership position with full pipeline responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the logistics sector, with specific experience in warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
· Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
· Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
Revenue Growth:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance.
Industry Expertise:
- Leverage deep industry knowledge in logistics, including warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added services, to position the company as a leader in the market.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of driving sales growth within the logistics industry.
- Extensive experience in warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added services.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce -preferred) sales analytics tools, and other relevant sales technologies and automation tools, and familiarity with data analytics
- Ability to work independently, both as a sales leader and contributor while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Base compensation range $150,000. to $200,000. plus, generous, uncapped commission structure.
