FlexTek has teamed up with one of our top clients that is currently looking for a Maintenance Planner. Our client is located North of the Cypress area and is a manufacturing facility. Looking for someone that comes from that environment.


They have recently grown, and this is a newly created position. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in managing total plant operations and delivering superior customer satisfaction by driving results and exceeding expectations in the key areas of quality and production.


This role is 100% on site with regular office hours with the occasional flexibility needed due to operational needs.

Below are additional responsibilities and qualifications for the role.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to identify and/or obtain all materials, equipment, and manhours required to complete maintenance activities.
  • Plan, monitor, and complete routine maintenance operations tasks by priority level within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create a Planned Backlog. Lead communication between maintenance and other internal beneficiaries of maintenance work to ensure stakeholders receive timely, efficient, and quality service.
  • Process work orders, applying failure codes adding accurate notes, problem and solution descriptions.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs.
  • Cooperate with Engineering and Operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.
