Playbook is hiring an exceptional Senior Product Manager to play a lead role in defining the strategy & vision of the company and building amazing products & consumer features.


About The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be a key player in leading the Product organization at Playbook. You'll be responsible for driving the product strategy of one of the most popular fitness apps in the world, managing members of the team and owning company-wide goals. You’ll get in at the early stages of a company about to ramp up with tremendous upside and growth opportunities. This role will work closely with our founders and get exposure to every component of the business. You’ll spearhead various initiatives that touch both ends of our platform, the creator and the consumer applications. We’re looking for someone that’s passionate about building amazing products and empowering the next generation of fitness creators.


About Playbook:

Playbook is a global marketplace connecting users with the top fitness creators in the industry. Playbook empowers top instructors in health, fitness, and athletics to build their brands and business and turn their content into subscription income - all on their own terms. Playbook currently has hundreds of the world’s top fitness creators on the platform and some of the highest growth in the industry. Users can subscribe to any creator and access all of their programs, classes, nutrition guides, etc on one of the highest-rated apps (4.9 stars) on the app store. 


Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap and lead teams to meet ambitious goals and deadlines.
  • Manage projects in a fast paced environment through the life-cycle of discovery, ideation, development, launch, and iteration
  • Measure the impact of product releases and leverage data to inform opportunities and prioritization
  • Drive KPIs to track the success of your projects and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead cross-functional teams to influence, align on business objectives and execute
  • Build a deep understanding of creator and consumer challenges and the competition across the industry
  • Make key prioritization decisions utilizing the right data, frameworks and tools to drive the business forward


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy, feature definition and end to end product delivery
  • Experience working and adapting in a fast-paced and innovative environment that requires first-principles thinking, process/organizational fundamentals and business aptitude for successful execution
  • Strong bias for action and ability to work independently toward stated goals using good judgment in spite of ambiguity
  • Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to take on and identify new opportunities
  • Owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive with the ability to influence others
  • Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate analysis
  • Able to navigate undefined situations, identify and solve for blockers with minimal guidance, and build cross-organizational partnerships
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a startup environment and in the fitness industry is a plus
