Plant Controller

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller on a full time and direct hire basis. The Plant Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and analysis for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, cost control, and financial planning, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all accounting functions within the plant, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with plant management to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives to optimize plant performance and profitability.
• Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis techniques.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
