Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a designated laboratory section (e.g., Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology).
  • Supervise and support staff, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance protocols.
  • Manage budgeting, resource optimization, and ensure accurate billing practices.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and keep policies up-to-date.
  • Provide technical expertise, address operational challenges, and implement new lab technologies.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant lab experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Preferred certification by ASCP, NCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and technical abilities.
