Belcan is hiring a Cost Estimator to support a client within in the construction and energy industry. You will be expected to provide estimates for the cost of building projects, such as roads and bridges, by analyzing data and using software:

Responsibilities

* Estimate costs: Calculate the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts

* Analyze data: Collect and analyze data to estimate costs, including currency exchange rates and productivity rates

* Review plans and specifications: Study plans and specifications to prepare estimates

* Evaluate offers: Evaluate offers to purchase based on site requirements, additions, and costing changes

* Develop bids: Develop bids for construction projects

* Work with others: Work closely with architects, engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors

* Monitor construction: Monitor construction processes and prepare construction progress schedules

* Prepare reports: Prepare budgets, reports, and project plans
