Senior Project Architect

Delawie is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager with demonstrated project experience for the Department of Defense (DoD). The position is full-time, on-site located in San Diego, CA
This leadership role will be responsible directing project teams in for n this position assists in the development of design solutions and preparation of construction documents in collaboration with the project team.
Qualifications
- University Degree - Bachelor or Master of Architecture, and with a minimum of 8 years of experience post-education in an architectural design firm, or equivalent.
- Experience in design-build project delivery methods for the DoD, primarily for NAVFAC and IMCOM, and a strong technical competency.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to provide effective supervision and staff management.
- Basic knowledge and experience in Revit, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam (or similar) software programs.
- Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ideal candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve design issues.
- Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading one or more project teams simultaneously of various size and complexity.
- Participate in proposal development.
- Establishing and maintain effective client relationships, anticipating and providing services that exceed client expectations.
- Leading or participating in all phases of project delivery.
- Working collaboratively with all disciplines.
- Adopting innovations in business digital and technology applications and cultivating innovation.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with project requirements.
- Oversight for budget, schedule, and quality assurance requirements.
