Day-to-Day:

A large university client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in the Information technology organization, specifically supporting a rapidly growing online enrollment and information platform. On a day to day basis, this person will be reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user needs to create solutions that support the overall business strategies. This BA will be documenting system/processes requirements, defining scopes and objectives, and creating system specifications that drive process improvement and system development/implementation. This person will perform a range of analytical duties, as well as plan, organize, and define requirements, methods, and end user objectives. They will be coordinating effort with team members, other IT staff, users, and vendors. This person will be expected to develop and execute system test plans to ensure application performance aligns to specifications, as well as prepare technical reports, design workflow maps or other documents to facilitate system/understanding. Lastly, as a BA, this person may also be expected to lead segments of larger projects, develop trainings, presentations, and communications.
