We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. This role involves the development, design, and implementation of new software products as well as modifications to existing projects, all while working closely with a talented team of developers, designers, and analysts.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.
  • Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts
  • Develop applications. Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes. Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction.
  • Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs Testing and evaluating new programs Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
  • Writing and implementing efficient code Determining operational practicality Developing quality assurance procedures Deploying software tools, processes and metrics Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
  • This position will work closely with the product operations team to implement solutions around internal tooling to help drive developer productivity.


Technical Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree or related discipline Experience in designing and building applications in various languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
  • Programming language: SQL + any other common languages(java, C++, C#, python, Scala, Golang etc.)
  • Data processing tools: spark or pandas
  • Other tools: git
  • Nice to have: enjoys leveraging LLM tools to be self sufficient
