Position Title: Senior SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) DesignerLocation: Montgomery, AL (100% Onsite)Clearance Requirements: Standard background check and drug testPosition Status: Long-term Contract Pay Rate: W2: $46.08–$50.55/hr OR C2C: $50–$55/hrPosition Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) Designer to support statewide Financial and Human Resources systems. This role is ideal for an experienced BI professional with deep expertise in SAP BO WebI, Universe Design, SQL, and Microsoft Power BI.You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level reports and dashboards used across state operations. The ideal candidate excels in data modeling, performance tuning, and translating complex business requirements into actionable insights. This position is 100% onsite in Montgomery, AL and requires an individual who can contribute immediately in a fast-moving environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize WebI reports, dashboards, and universes for statewide Financial and HR applicationsTranslate business and functional requirements into scalable reporting solutionsPerform data modeling, query optimization, and integration with Oracle and SQL Server databasesCollaborate with end-users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting needsDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models (DAX), and hybrid BI integrationsConduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning for all BI assetsEnsure data accuracy, data governance, and compliance with applicable regulations (including HIPAA for HR data)Provide end-user support, documentation, and training for BI tools and reportsRequired Skills/Education:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI)10+ years in universe design, report development, scheduling, and bursting10+ years of advanced SQL experience with Oracle or SQL Server5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and dashboard developmentStrong understanding of enterprise financial and HR systemsAbility to work 100% onsite in Montgomery, ALMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting state or government applicationsKnowledge of data warehousing and ETL conceptsCertifications in SAP BusinessObjects or Microsoft Power BIFamiliarity with Crystal Reports, Tableau, or related BI toolsKnowledge of state-level compliance requirementsAbout Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
