They are hiring for a DCS Engineer in Augusta, Georgia. You will be Developing and documenting new strategies to troubleshoot instrumentation,. Your primary focus will be to Promote the utilization of regulatory and advanced controls schemes to increase the automation powered by DeltaV. You will work and liase closely with the projects team to ensure projects are delivered in budget and within schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing project scope and evaluations of the project
  • Designing and implementing process control strategies
  • Involved in the implementation of control strategy configurations within DeltaV (DCS) systems
  • Writing design documentation for process control applications
  • Creating and generating project scope estimates
  • Process control algorithm development, prototyping and implementation
  • Working in a team environment with other Process Control Engineers to maintain the overall site control system hardware and software.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5 years’ experience previously working as a Process Control Engineer with experience across DCS systems
  • Ideally experienced with the DeltaV Distributed Control Systems
  • Previous experience being compliant with Batch programs
  • Strong understanding of regulating and validating different systems
  • Previous industry experience from a manufacturing or chemical environment
