Role Description

We are seeking to hire a well-rounded medical professional for their private practice in the North Shore.  This is an office-based, full-time, low risk environment position. Their focus is working with children who suffer from asthma, exercise related disorders, chronic cough to more serious conditions such as cystic fibrosis.  In addition, they recently developed a state-of-the-art Human Performance Laboratory dedicated to helping adolescent athletes perform at peak levels. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field
  • Experience in developing and implementing exercise programs for patients with various medical conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of the structure and function of the human body
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Experience with clinical exercise and sports diagnostic testing equipment
  • Under guidance of Doctor and staff, conduct and interpret results of cardiopulmonary exercise, cardiac and other pulmonary diagnostic tests
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as necessary
