Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing insurance claims and coordinating with insurance providers. If you have a strong background in dental and medical coding and are detail-oriented, we would love to hear from you.


Duties:

- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients

- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments

- Review and interpret dental treatment plans to ensure accurate coding and billing

- Maintain accurate patient records and update insurance information as needed

- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide guidance on coverage options

- Collaborate with the billing department to reconcile accounts and resolve payment issues


Skills:

- Strong knowledge of dental procedures

- Experience working in a dental practice setting

- Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance billing processes

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare professionals
